Updates?

It's like they know when I'm about to start saying good things about them. The dogs, we're talking about. Then, they bust into doggie UFC right next to me. It's hard core- they use the walls, pole, and sides of the couch to pin each other, launch themselves off, and hold each other down while they chew on each other's ears and neck. I'm going to try and post the video of them that shows the adventures. Jack basically latches onto monkey's neck and just hangs on. She's more of a leg-grabber. She nips at his leg until he lets go.

They say you're not supposed to give your dogs pet names (no pun intended) because it confuses them, but we stink at that game. Monkey's pet names include: bubba, doodle-bug, monkerdoodle, pretty girl, etc. Jack's pet names include: handsome, dingbat, and spaghetti dog (since when you pet him or try to get him to go somewhere he doesn't want to, he goes limp like spaghetti).
Jack is a total water dog. He plays in the bathtub, tosses his water bowl so that he can play in the puddle, and sometimes just drools for the fun of it, i think. He's a sweet boy, though. He is totally a lovey-dovey dog, he just wants to be pet... and as long as he has something in his mouth, he is a good boy- we are still trying to teach him the difference between dog toys and shoes and rocks. hehe.
Monkey seems much more lively now that he's here. She is more active and is learning the art of sharing. She also likes to show off the fact that she knows all her commands and is the best dog ever. when we tell Jack to sit, she'll come tearing into the room to do sit, lay down, paw, etc. It's pretty funny. Through this process, we have also learned that she actually knows the commands "out" (of the room), and "outside" (through the dog doors). How fun!
